The Rufescent recently hosted the inaugural edition of Dubai Dialogue, a new curated series designed to bring together industry leaders for thoughtful, depth driven conversations on the forces shaping global markets.

Held on 29 April, the first episode explored the theme “Gold, Diamonds, and Hard Asset Resilience: Safe Havens in Uncertain Times.” The discussion brought together leading voices from across the precious metals and gemstones sector to examine the role of tangible assets in navigating economic volatility.

The session was hosted by Naoufer Ramoul, Senior TV Presenter at Dubai Media, and featured a distinguished panel of speakers including Abhijit Pankaj Shah, Chief Executive Officer of Emirates Gold DMCC; Rachel Sahar, Director of R Sahar Diamonds and Board Member of Dubai Diamond Exchange; Waleed Yazdani, Co Founder of Just Gold; and Rohit Dhamani, Chief Executive Officer of Dusoul and Director of Dhamani Jewels Group.

Dubai Dialogue is conceived as a platform for meaningful exchange, bringing together decision makers, investors, and operators to engage with current affairs, emerging challenges, and evolving opportunities. Each session is recorded live at The Rufescent and distributed across its channels, creating both immediate relevance and long term value as a source of credible insight.

The launch of this series comes at a pivotal moment. The Middle East is entering a period of transformation, marked by shifting trade dynamics, capital flows, and strategic realignment across global markets. Dubai continues to play a central role in this landscape, with DMCC at the heart of trade and connectivity. Dubai Dialogue seeks to bring together key participants from across these ecosystems to foster clarity, strengthen collaboration, and contribute to sustainable growth.

Looking ahead, the next edition will explore the theme “Trust, Trade and Community: The DMCC Ecosystem.” The session will feature Ahmed Bin Sulayem, a prominent figure in shaping Dubai’s position as a global trade hub. This ongoing collaboration reflects a shared commitment to building high quality, controlled narratives and enabling meaningful engagement between the Rufescent and DMCC communities.

Through Dubai Dialogue, The Rufescent continues to establish itself as a space where conversations of consequence take place. A platform where ideas are exchanged with intention, and where leaders come together not only to respond to change, but to shape what comes next.

Every challenge is an opportunity to lead with clarity, build resilience, and shape the future with intent.
